Game of Thrones is a fantasy television series that aired in the channel HBO. It was premiered in the US on April 17, 2011. Filmed in the European countries arena it is an adaptation of the George R Martin’s A song of ice and fire which is a series of fantasy novels. With a very active international fan base, it has bagged the record viewership on HBO. The series have fetched many awards and nominations in its series run.
