Spike Lee’s Jordan Mars 270

Jordan always welcomed the official collaborations in the past three decades. Among these collaborations, Spike Lee’s hybrid ones are more popular. Jordan and Spike Lee’s wonderful bond is dated from the late 80s. Spike Lee is a renowned American film producer-actor who put a significant mark in the Jordan royal history in its initial times. The bond and the galore relationship have brought up many iconic silhouettes and ad campaigns to the amazing brand. The first official collaboration with the brand was Jordan Spizike and later the Son of Mars also joins the lineup. Among them, Jordan Spizike was a popular sneaker in the hybrid sequence. Now Spike lee’s son Jackson Lewis Lee is about to take over his father’s bountiful relationship to a way ahead by designing a Jordan silhouette by himself. It also shows how the family’s great affinity towards the brand is deeply rooted. The exclusive sneaker is named Jordan Mars 270 and designed solely by the Spike Lee son.

Aside from the announcement of the upcoming funky wear, Jackson Lewis unveiled a Fire Red colorway of the sneakers which was a mere inspiration of the Air Jordan 5. Even though the hybrid sneaker owns the majority of the Air Jordan 5 it also exhibits major features of the classic ones Air Jordan 1,4 and 6 paired with Nike’s Air Max 270 Unit at the heel.

Encased beautifully in the air max unit Jordan Mars 270 is a firm and bottom-heavy shoe. Even Though the sneaker comes with a lot of retro motifs it holds a fresh look with an evocative design. The top of the shoe flaunts in white leather with crimson accents on the tongue/ heel tab and the midsole is a combination of black and red with a translucent blue on the outsole front portion. The toe and collar is just a reflection of, Air Jordan 1 while Air Jordan 4 attempt to fill the tongue and the kneading sideways. Below the collar, we have netted lace cage that covers the majority of the swoosh design. The middle panel is borrowed from Air Jordan 5 and Air Jordan 6 paints the rear spoiler and loose midsole design details with a little bit on the outsole too. Other embellishments that make the sneaker more eye-catchy are a small tab on the midsole illustrated Mars and when turned the other side says Jordan, Jump man branding on the tongue and as icing on the top two TPU plastic panels on the midsole having 270 on it. The sneaker is expected to release in colorways white/ reflective, Silver/ Fire and Red/ Black.

Combining all this Jackson Lewis Lees Jordan Mars 270 is a firm yet funky heavy-bottomed lifestyle shoe that pulls out a futuristic design. The rumors claim that the shoes will hit the market by July this year at a price tag of $160.
